With Fox soon to be folded into Disney, fans are eagerly waiting to see what will become of the X-Men universe that the studio established back in 2000. I mean, sure there was almost no continuity or common sense between these movies, but they represent a very important part of history in terms of comic book movies, so many of us are still a little baffled at the idea of it being expunged from existence as soon as all the “ts” are crossed on this merger.
The impending Dark Phoenix film from Simon Kinberg (who has been a longtime writer for the series) is rumored to be the last one before we say sayonara to this iteration of the characters, and yet the studio has been oddly silent. This is a film that’s been pushed back and whose test screenings have been rumored to be pretty terrible. But when can we expect to see more from it?

The folks over at Trailer-Track are reporting that the new trailer has been rated by Germany’s FSK, and with one of the movie’s stars Jessica Chastain heading to the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this coming Wednesday, it’s possible we could be getting it as soon as February 27. There was also apparently a deleted tweet from Fox’s Japanese social media that pointed to the trailer debuting Thursday in Japanese time zones, which would line up pretty nicely.
