Dark/Web Heads To Amazon Prime This July!

Whoo! It’s been a long time coming. I know a whole ton of you LRM Online readers have been waiting for a while to see what would come of the ever-elusive Dark/Web. Here was an eight-episode sci-fi/horror series that’s been in the works for years. We held a contest many eons ago where one of you readers was able to incorporate his script into the narrative, and the thing went into production, and then…crickets. We’d clue you in on some posters and teasers here and there, but now comes our biggest news yet!

Dark/Web will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video next month — July 19, to be exact. But, of course, that isn’t the only way you could catch the series. At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, you will have a chance to check out the series for yourself over the course of two nights. As of right now, seats appear to be filled, BUT there’s always a chance in last-minute changes, so keep your eyes during the con on our official Twitter account.

RELATED – Dark/Web: How It All Began

Below is the official synopsis for Dark/Web:

“In the near future, the evolution of the internet has given way to a world in crisis; one where everyone’s connected and no one is safe. Molly Solis, a cyber securities analyst, understood these dangers better than anyone and was determined to find a way to keep people protected… until she vanished without a trace. Now, friends and foes from her past are in a race against time to decipher cryptic messages she’s left behind; tales that paint a grim picture of technology run amok. As the mystery deepens, they’ll discover the stories, and Molly herself, may have been concealing information that could change the world, or destroy it.

DARK/WEB is the brainchild of Michael and Tim Nardelli, and Mario Miscione; creators of 2015’s cult hit CIRCLE. It’s been produced under the Nardellis’ FELT FILMS banner. The series is comprised of eight anthology segments, each dealing with different dangers of the tech age, connected by a serialized narrative uncovering the mystery behind Molly’s disappearance”
