DARK/WEB’s Successful SDCC Adventure!

Now that the dust has settled on another year of the San Diego Comic-Con, it’s time to take a look at the successful adventure of the DARK/WEB experience while at the Con. You can check out the clip above which was the second clip from the DARK/WEB panel at SDCC. Also, if you haven’t checked it out yet, be sure to click on the link and head over to Amazon Prime Video in order to check out DARK/WEB which is now available!!

Photo Shoots

The day of the premiere was quite wild and jam-packed with events, which started with  photo shoots with Esquire and Getty Images which can be seen through the DARK/WEB Twitter page. You can check out more pictures from the photo shoot here. The cast would also have an interview and photo shoot session with TV Guide on Day 2 of the premiere.

Panel

After the Day 1 photo shoot, the cast and crew quickly had to make their way to the Horton Grande Theater for their panel session.  During the panel, the trailer was viewed and followed by questions from Greg Alba.  During the Q&A session, three clips from the series were shown (including the clip above), which ended with a Q&A session from the crowd.

Autograph Session

From the panel, the cast and crew had to quickly make their way to the San Diego Convention Center for an autograph session, which included movie posters, and individual character stills as well as episode banners that individuals could have signed.  The autograph session was a huge success, with a constant crowd that had to eventually be cut off due to going over the hour-long signing restrictions!

Two-Day World Premiere

From the autograph session the team made their way to the Hard Rock Hotel for the world premiere of DARK/WEB!  The first night aired episodes 1-4 and had a consistent crowd even with people coming and going due to all that SDCC has to offer.  At the conclusion of episode 4, the cast and crew were brought on stage for a Q&A session hosted by LRM’s own Gig Patta which the floor was then opened to the audience for their questions, and finally concluded with fun fan give-aways!

Day 2 of the world premiere consisted of episodes 5-7, leaving the final episode (8) for the fans to check out on Amazon Prime Video.  The second day was equally as successful with a strong, consistent crowd. At the conclusion of episode 7, the crowd was asked if they would like to see the final episode, or have a Q&A session with the cast and crew.  The latter was decided by the crowd which also included fun give-aways and even permitted time for the audience to take pictures with the DARK/WEB team!
