Sticky Fingaz delivers a powerful performance in ‘Darkness of Man’ as a law enforcement official. His character is torn in a downward spiral after a bust goes horribly wrong, adding a layer of complexity to the plot.
In this noir-like film, Darkness of Man, Jean-Claude Van Damme plays the lead role, caught between rival gangs and protecting a young teen from entering the underground world.
The film also stars Emerson Min (Black-ish), Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines), and Peter Jae (Blackhat). James Cullen Bressack (Hot Seat) directed the movie from the screenplay written by Alethea Cho and Bressack.
Here is the official synopsis of Darkness of Man:
Russell Hatch (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is a washed-up, former Interpol operative who vowed to protect the son of an informant killed years earlier in a raid gone wrong. When merciless street gangs start an all-out turf war and the kid is caught in the middle, Hatch will stop at nothing to keep him safe and fight anyone who gets in his way.
