Halloween Mansion at the Disney Theme Parks is the most often visited theme park attraction on site. Already adapted once as a live-action movie with Eddie Murphy in 2003, The Muppets now re-adapted that follows more closely to the ride in Disney’s Muppets Halloween Mansion.  The entire cast of The Muppets star alongside special guests with Will Arnett, Yvette Nicole Brown, Taraji P. Henson, and Darren Criss.

Here’s the official synopsis:

The Great Gonzo—world-famous daredevil artiste, has done it all, seen it all, and survived it all. But on Halloween night, the fearless Gonzo takes on the greatest challenge of his life by spending one very daring night in the grimmest grinning place on Earth…The Haunted Mansion.

Inspired by all four of the iconic Disney Haunted Mansion attractions located across the globe at various Disney Parks, the Muppets Haunted Mansion includes many hidden Easter eggs for Disney fans and Muppet-ized sets and props that help viewers in the storytelling experience.

This marks the Muppets’ first-ever Halloween special and features three new original songs, “Rest In Peace,” “Life Hereafter,” and “Tie The Knot Tango,” a star-studded Muppets cast, celebrity cameos, and spooky fun for families to enjoy together.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with actor Darren Criss on his role as the singing graveyard caretaker in the movie and with Miss Piggy in her dual role as herself and the fortuneteller.

Darren Criss rose to fame as Blaine Anderson in the musical comedy series Glee for FOX. He earned Emmy and Golden Globe acting awards for his leading role as the serial killer Andrew Cunanan in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. He appeared on Broadway and released several recordings as a solo artist and with a band.

Miss Piggy is one of the most known Muppet characters from Jim Henson’s The Muppet Show. She debut in 1976 and is known for her on-again/off-again relationship with Kermit the Frog. She is recognized as one of the greatest television stars and characters by TV Guide and United Kingdom’s Channel 4.

Muppets Haunted Mansion streams on Disney+ on Friday, October 8.
