Decades ago, parents often taught their children not to ride with strangers In the age of driving apps, it is one of the most utilized apps with Uber and Lyft while constantly riding with strangers. In the film Dawn, a couple learns the hard way to always proceed with caution in entering someone’s vehicle.

The film stars Jackie Moore (Pernicious) and Jared Cohn (A Stalker in the House) about this share ride horror story.

Here is the official synopsis:

The film, directed by Nicholas Ryan, tells of an unsuspecting couple that gets into rideshare only to find out that they may have to fight for their lives as the deranged driver puts them through life and death situations. Be careful who you accept a ride from; it may be your last.

The movie also stars Sarah French, Michael Pare, Eric Roberts, Gigi Gustin, and Nicholas Brendon with Ryder Douple and Dawson Doupe.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta talked with actors Jackie Moore and Jared Cohn about the horror film, characters, and filming in the vehicle for most of the movie.

Jackie Moore started her acting career with small roles in Fugly! with John Leguizamo and Chlorine with Vincent D’Onofrio. Later, she relocated to Los Angeles to study at The Groundlings, The Second City and with Greg Braun at The New Collective Acting Studio. She appeared in The Mindy Project, Westworld, Vital Signs, The Odd Couple, and Barry.

Jared Cohn graduated with a bachelor of fine arts from the New York Institute of Technology. As an actor, he appeared in many films, including Halloween Night, 12/12/12, Sharknado: Heart of Sharkness, and A Stalker in the House. Also, he is known for behind-the-camera work, including directing Bikini Spring Break, 12/12/12, Jailbait, Little Dead Rotting Hood, and Deadlock.

Dawn has a digital release date of Tuesday, August 2nd.
