It’s August! For some people is the start of spooky season! If you ask me, it’s always spooky season. One of the signs of the coming of Halloween is the rise of Spirit Halloween stores in the hulls of what used to be other businesses. Personally, for my daughter and I, it’s a tradition to go in there and check out every corner just for fun. Now Strike Back Studios has taken that fun and turned it into a movie titled, Spirit Halloween: The Movie.
Yesterday, they released a new trailer for the film. It coincided with the opening of Spirit Halloween’s flagship store Saturday, July 30. You can check it out below!
Let’s be honest, it looks like a giant commercial. But then again most movies are (I’m looking at you Transformers). Spirit Halloween: The Movie looks like it is going to be a bit campy and cheesy. But if you are a frequent visitor/customer to the store, then you should be able to have fun with it. This year pairing them together may enhance your experience to the store.
The film will feature star Christopher Lloyd in the role of Alec Windsor. A dead man whose spirit possesses everything in an abandoned store, and terrorizes a group of kids. His haunts of choice are the animatronic creatures of the store. The kids have to work together to stop the spirit of Windsor by midnight. Or risk being possessed forever.
Here is the synopsis for Spirit Halloween: The Movie
