It will start off at SXSW in Austin, Texas where there will be multiple fan experiences, photo opportunities, limited edition merchandise as well as an Instagrammable mural. Also there will be a moment where more than 1.5 million bats will fly into the night over Austin’s famous Congress Bridge on March 15th.

Being that Batman has always been my favorite superhero, I cannot wait to attend some of these events celebrating 80 years of Batman. The iconic hero was created by artist Bob Kane with writer Bill Finger and first appeared in comics back in Detective Comics #27 on March 30th, 2019. He has influenced every area of modern entertainment including comic books, television series, films, video games, theme parks, experiences, toys, collectibles apparel and lifestyle products. Batman is a multi-billion dollar icon that reigns as the most single most popular super hero ever created.
