Some interesting updates have hit for the DCU Batman casting rumors going around online just now. We covered the basis of these reports in the related section below. Essentially it all begins with John Campea saying he thinks he knows who is playing Batman. This was followed by other Insiders saying they doubt DCU has cast their Batman yet.
Then Campea released another video bemoaning anyone, like me, for reporting on what he said, because he’s a nobody and no one should listen to him. Yet, at the same time Campea has just verified the Avengers: Doomsday leaks (I’ve reported on previously) match 1-1 with the leaked details he claims to have seen. So you’re either claiming to be an insider or your a journo/fan, but you can’t have it both ways.
Anyway, after previously doing a bit of walkback, Campea now says he’s had some clarity and there are three names in the hat for Batman. One of which, includes the name he would not give previously. None are again named here, check it out.

He adds that there are three actors under consideration, including one prominent name and two others that have reportedly had discussions with DC Studios.

They’re obviously trolling for engagement. None of these names are real. Why do you think they keep adding names every time Campea spouts some BS. There’s no Batman cast yet.

MTTSH seems to move in cycles of actually getting good information and improving her rep, then playing the engagement farm play and tanking it again. I still follow her on X and every other day there’s a report just exclaiming ‘OMG!!’ for no other reason to get people to click, hooping for news. Luckily, it’s my job to work out what is relevant from her and post it here whilst excluding the bait, so you don’t have to.
As for this whole casting business, I have no stake in things and nothing against any of the insiders in question here. I will only say I trust the sources of Apoc and Jeff Sneider more than Campea and MTTSH. At the same time, both have got news before the others before and will probably do so again.
I just give you the details, the judgement of this debate is up you readers to decide. As aways, leave any thoughts below in our comments.
