In today’s Barside Buzz we are sharing a roundup of Deadpool & Wolverine rumors regarding Wolverine’s suit and Multiversal Anchors. Let’s start with the first rumor around Wolverine’s already revealed yellow and blue suit in the movie. This one comes from Cryptic HD.
The post says that Wolverine wears that suit not because he has to, but because he has a symbolic attachment to it. It is a link to his past that he clings on to.
Cryptic HD also posted an image of what some fans are guessing is how Wolverine gets in this movie. I cannot link the tweet because of Twitter/X restricted it due to the wording used. In other words, a small self made comic strip where Logan tells Deadpool he is gonna kill him. Thank goodness for X protecting us from such horror /s.
Essentially the leaker suggests that Deadpool will literally resurrect Logan from the grave using the Time Stone and ask him for help. Logan will not be happy and reject the chance initially and try to kill Deadpool.
I guess we will see this Summer?

The next rumor began from Daniel RPK on Patreon. RPK says that Deadpool & Wolverine will introduce what fans are calling the ‘Multiversal Anchor’ rumor.
‘Deadpool & Wolverine will introduce a new concept to the Multiverse of one being in every universe that without them the universe will die.’
Now on the back of this claim from RPK, Alex P from TCC had this to say.
Let’s just say, hypothetically, that this whole “Anchor Entity” bit is real…hypothetically.
And let’s say that, Hypothetically, it’s less cooler that it actually sounds, because it’s the equivalent of, “Your universe got boring since this character died, so it’s decaying.”

It seems to me like Alex is backing RPK‘s claim, but tempering expectation of how cool this will actually be in the movie.
For now, as always take all rumors with a pinch of salt. However, do bear in mind that here at LRM we only share rumors from those with the highest hit rate/success rate. Therefore, all three insiders featured here fall into that category.
