Last night, during the TV show American Ninja Warrior Fox took its first advantage of the kind of cross-pollination it can do with its Marvel properties. We already know that they’d love to build towards a Fantastic Four/X-Men crossover. We also know that next year’s Deadpool and Gambit titles will be set in the same universe as those films, with Tatum’s Gambit in particular getting lined up for several X-features. Well, last night, they used a special sneak peak for Fantastic Four to continue the hype that’s been building around Deadpool since San Diego Comic-Con.

Have a look, to see how Deadpool shows up to offer a little extra incentive to go see FF in theaters:

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Fantastic Four opens this weekend.
