Did you spot Boba Fett’s armor in The Mandalorian Season 2 trailer? A number of fans think they have. It’s been long rumored that Boba Fett will show up in Mando Season 2. In fact, our source says a Boba Fett Spin-off show is currently being developed for Disney+.

Check out some Twitter posts below and decide for yourself.

There were far more tweets, but all fairly similar. It looks like Fett’s jet pack to me? Now this leads on to rumors that Cobb Vanth will show up. Specifically that Vanth is going to be played by Timothy Olyphant. If Vanth is wearing Fett’s armor, could this scene be showing is that Mando is returning said armor to its rightful owner? There is a story now from Legends about a character called Cobb Vanth who adopted Fett’s armor on Tattooine. It’s a story I’m not familiar with, but many fans are and have been putting this together since the Vanth rumors began. We know Mando goes to Tattooine in Season 2, it certainly looks so. I would say that’s Tattooine Mando is on in those screen shots above.

For now we are just going to have to wait and see. However, I certainly trust our source 100%. So, if a Fett spin-off show is a go, I have to believe the rumors about Vanth and Fett in The Mandalorian Season 2. However, there are a number of fans I’m noticing who refuse to believe any of the Fett, Ahsoka, or Sabine rumors, despite overwhelming evidence. Why, because they would rather see an animated Rebels sequel as opposed to these characters stories continuing in live-action.

Whether an animated Rebels sequel is coming is certainly up for debate. Our own sources had never heard of it, and KRT‘s said it was definitely still a go. However, ourselves and KRT have agreed on almost every other detail our sources have provided, so we just don’t know? What we are sure about, is that Lucasfilm ARE developing live-action shows for Ahsoka, Boba Fett, and Ezra Bridger. LRM has also been told these shows will all connect to one another, as well as The Mandalorian.
