The fate of the world depends on a chosen Jiu Jitsu fighter to combat one tough extraterrestrial.
In the spirit of fighting competitions, Jiu Jitsu is an action that utilizes every action formula in the book that included martial arts, stunts, gunplay, and sword fighting. And then, throw in a Predator-like alien who can throw shurikens, wield a katana, and display masterful skills in Jiu Jitsu.
The action movie stars Alain Moussi (Kickboxer: Vengeance), Frank Grillo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Rick Yune (The Fast and the Furious), Marie Avgeropoulos (CW’s The 100), Juju Chan (Netflix’s Wu Assassins), Tony Jaa (Ong-bak series), and Nicolas Cage (Face/Off, The Rock). Dimitri Logothetis directed the film from the script he wrote with Jim McGrath (Kickboxer: Retaliation).
Here’s the synopsis of the movie:
When Jake Barnes, a master Jiu Jitsu fighter, refuses to face Brax, an indomitable alien creature, the future of humanity hangs in the balance. Injured and suffering from severe amnesia, Jake is captured by a military squad unequipped to fight the merciless intruder who has descended upon the planet. Jake is rescued by Wylie, and an ancient order of Jiu Jitsu fighters who must help him recover his memory and regain his strength in order to band together and defeat Brax in an epic battle that will determine the fate of mankind.
