Director Guy Ritchie And Jason Statham To Team Up Once Again For Action Revenge Flick

Some excellent news for you folks as director Guy Ritchie and Actor Jason Statham are set to have a bit of a reunion in a new film. The pair are part of two of my favorite movies, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Snatch.

The film will be a remake of a French film titled Le Convoyeur, as Miramax has obtained the rights to said film. You can check out what Ritchie had to say while speaking with Deadline down below.

“I’m looking forward to bringing this story to life and working with Jason while he still has the use of his knees.”

This will see a return to the genre that put Ritchie on the map and made him a household name, for film buffs such as ourselves anyway. Rictchie most recently helmed the big budget remake of Disney’s animated classic, Aladdin, which had Will Smith in the role of the iconic genie.

I love Ritchie’s British gangter films that show a very serious, yet comedic side of that particular underworld. Besides beloved franchises such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones and the like, Ritchie’s films are probably my favorite films, ever. I will also watch most anything with Jason Statham.
