Disney has officially released an image of the sad porg from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The scene depicted in the image was perhaps the biggest “awwww” moment of the film. The bird-like creatures are residents of the island Ahch-To where Luke Skywalker went in search of the first Jedi Temple. You can check out the photo below:

Aww! Look at that little guy! Don’t ya want to just pick him and cuddle him?
The adorable little creature looks up as Chewbacca is about to eat one of his family members, and is eventually scared off by one of Chewy’s roars. While many fans may find the porgs to be a bit too cute, I am not one of them, as I enjoyed their time on screen and thought they were used properly throughout the film.
At least we can all be thankful Rian Johnson didn’t have the porgs take down The First Order.
With Star Wars: The Last Jedi crossing the billion-dollar mark at the box-office, there is no denying the film is a cash monster. While the fandom still seems to be split, financially, the film is a massive success.
