Disney reveals the full schedule for Destination D23, 2023. The biggest Disney fan event of the year will take place from Friday, September 8 through Sunday, September 10, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.

As reported by Deadline;

The event, tied to the company’s 100th anniversary this year and put on for members of its D23 fan club, promises a “journey through every era of Disney, as we venture back through the last century of storytelling and look forward to a limitless future for the company.”

Here is an infographic showing the main events of Saturday and Sunday, Friday is mostly just registration and shopping opportunities.

As is normal with D23, do not expect much regarding Star Wars, if anything. That will usually all be reserved for Celebration. However, we could get some information around the MCU, it’s happened before. Though focused on the comic books, I wonder if we may get something Saturday during the celebration of Marvel’s Avengers? See below for official details.

Celebrate 60 years of Earth’s Mightiest Super Hero team, the Avengers! Since their debut in 1963’s The Avengers #1, this all-star roster of beloved characters has been uniting to fight the foes that no single hero could withstand. Now, join Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski to trace the comics history of the Avengers across six decades—and BEYOND! Surprising stories and tantalizing teases await in this can’t-miss panel about how the Avengers rose to become a pop culture phenomenon! Avengers, assemble!

Tantalizing teases huh? However I would warn against expecting anything MCU here. Remember the last big MCU dump covered them almost up to Secret Wars. Since then, there’s been a big slow down and Secret Wars has slipped by over a year on the slate. We may however get a tease or a trailer shown for some upcoming projects. However, those teases could also be comic books based and there is no connection to the MCU here. Not all would be lost though.

There is also the Disney Studios Showcase on Sunday morning. That showcase is definitely where I’d expect to see the bulk of teases and trailers for all upcoming Disney projects. Any MCU footage would more likely fall here. Plus, any announcements that need to be made. Therefore, we could get some MCU news or trailers there, and you never know, they could also drop something for Star Wars as well?

Tickets for the event are already sold out, but some presentations will be live streamed. Hopefully, the showcase on Sunday.
