In an announcement at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, “The Simpsons” revealed that its anticipated 35th season will debut on October 2 on Disney+. This season promises 18 new episodes, bringing fans back to the beloved town of Springfield for more hilarious antics with the iconic Simpsons family.
During the event’s panel, series creator Matt Groening, along with key contributors Matt Selman, Al Jean, Mike Price, Brian Kelley, David Silverman, and voice actress Nancy Cartwright, shared exciting news for Disney+ subscribers. Four never-before-seen episodes of “The Simpsons” will be available exclusively on the streaming platform. Among these exclusive offerings is a special Christmas-themed double episode, “O C’mon All Ye Faithful,” set to premiere on December 17, coinciding with the 35th anniversary of the show’s original Christmas special.

The other exclusive episodes include “The Past and the Furious” and “Yellow Planet,” which are set to debut in the coming months. Additionally, fans can look forward to a brand-new Halloween-themed short from “The Simpsons” this October, also exclusive to Disney+.
