Doctor Who: Jodie Whittaker’s Costume As The Doctor Revealed!

Go nuts, Doctor Who fans. The new new look of the upcoming 13th Doctor — who is set to premiere during this year’s Christmas special on BBC One — has been revealed!

As expected, the overall look of this character is very stylish, with just enough quirk thrown in there that is fitting of the Doctor. This version of the character sports a rainbow(ish…it’s not a normal rainbow) stripe T-shirt. She’ll have a pair of loose pants held up by suspenders and a sporty light gray trenchcoat. I have to say, I really dig the overall aesthetic here and am very anxious to see what Whitaker brings to this new interpretation of the character. If I’m being honest, it’s likely my favorite look for the character yet (though it’s no difficult task beating that cringeworthy leather jacket that the 9th Doctor had).

Earlier this year, it was revealed that history would be made and that Jodie Whittaker would become the first female Doctor in the history of the long-running franchise. This was a report that was largely received positively by fans, and since then, many have been wondering just how this would be tackled by the show. We haven’t much longer to find out.
