The Batman is currently filming in England, and so far we have seen a few set photos and an official reveal of Battinson’s Battinsuit. Sorry, Robert Pattinson’s Batsuit, that’s it. We have known for some time that several of Batman’s rogues gallery would be appearing in Matt Reeves’ reboot movie. Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler, and more. Now we may have a hint of a potential ally being set up in the movie as well.
A user on Reddit has posted an image of a casting call, check it out.
“We are looking for men & women of all ethnicities aged 17 an [sic] in North West England with Circus skills. Specifically fire dancers, fire breathers, puppet operators or any other circus skills. Filming will be in Liverpool on a Major Action Feature Film shooting in March 2020. You must live in North West England as no additional fees will be added for travel.”
Now, this is unverified, but it does seem on the nose. This is of course, not confirmation that Dick Grayson will appear in the movie. It does however, certainly raise the possibility. This could be some other circus type of event going on in the movie. Or, it could though be a circus featuring the famous Flying Grayson’s? If the script calls for are circus based set piece, then they will need extra’s with circus skills to make the place feel alive. It could simply be a tease of things to come in future movies, or completely unrelated?

I’ll leave the rest of the speculation to you readers. It is an intriguing piece of information to ponder though. I do have high hopes for this movie. Whilst, I’ll admit I always preferred Marvel over DC overall, I can honestly say that Batman remains my number one. Best character, best stories, best aesthetics, best villains, in my opinion. I just didn’t appreciate the rest of the DC slate quite as much.
