Iron Man may be dead, but Robert Downey Jr. lives on. The actor had not taken on a lot of roles while he played Tony Stark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but now that his schedule is more open we can look forward to seeing him take on new characters. Many people are awaiting his return to sleuthing as Sherlock Holmes, but in the meantime, we will be getting his period accurate version of Doctor Dolittle.

The film is being directed by Stephen Gaghan (Syriana) who also wrote the script. A lot of big names will be lending voices to the animals including Tom Holland, Marion Cotillard, Rami Malek, and Ralph Fiennes. Other actors will be showing their faces on the screen such as Jessie Buckley as Queen Victoria and Antonio Banderas as Rassouli.

This film hits the big screen on January 17th, 2020.
