It has been a rough year for the theatrical release of Black Widow with multiple reschedules due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. With a tentative release scheduled for 2021 it is only a matter of time before we get to see Scarlett Johansson back as our favorite secret agent.
Graphics Designer & VFX Artist Amit Chaudhari just shared some new information he has heard regarding that Stark cameo. He is reporting that from multiple sources that he has heard from that there won’t be a Tony Stark appearance in the upcoming Black Widow film. This contradicts reports from Deadline that reported late last year that Robert Downey Jr. would be reprising the role of Tony Stark one more time for the film.
But for sure there will not be any scenes what Deadline mentioned about Stark back in September 2019 as per what I have been told by multiple sources. 2/2

YouTuber and VFX artist Taran Singh also confirms Amit’s report that he has heard from sources attached to the film that there is no cameo scene of Stark. He goes on to claim that there will be an appearance from Hawkeye, Captain America, and Falcon. From the report it seems there will be a scene with Hawkeye and a separate scene with Cap and Falcon during their time between Civil War and Infinity Saga.
So far my friends at Framestore who are working on the film told me there's no stark in there as well but they defintely hinted at Hawkeye being in there and also flashback from when Cap, Nat and Sam were hiding after Civil War!

Of course this news can be taken with a grain of salt for what you believe. In my opinion this does make sense from what we do know about the upcoming film. Since the report from Deadline we have not heard any other outlet confirm their report and Robert Downey Jr. has downplayed the report in interviews. The timeline from what we know about the film is that Natasha would be more in contact with Cap and Sam than Tony.
Black Widow is scheduled tentatively for theatrical release May 7, 2021. Nothing is certain though due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
