Dresden Files Peace Talks Book Trailer Reveals TWO BOOKS Are Hitting This Year

A book trailer has launched for The Dresden Files’ new entry, Peace Talks, but it comes with a big surprise.

Jim Butcher fans have been quite patient. The long-running Dresden Files series has been dormant for several years. The last entry was released way back in 2014, and since then, they’ve had to sit by and get caught up in other fantastical worlds. However, Butcher has always managed to update his fans on the goings-on of his worlds.

It hasn’t been long since Butcher took to social media to share that the latest novel, Peace Talks, was completed. Now, the internet has been set aflame by an unexpected surprise. First up, Butcher revealed an over two-minute-long book trailer for Peace Talks, which was exclusively shared by io9.

While the book trailer obviously doesn’t have the production value of standard TV show, I’m sure there are plenty of fans who got a kick out of what they saw. At the end of the day, it’s still heads and shoulders above most other book trailers out there. It’ll at least help to whet the appetite of hardcore fans until the book hits this July.

But that wasn’t the only surprise the trailer held. At the very end, it revealed that Peace Talks wouldn’t be the only Dresden Files book to hit this year. In September, they are also getting Battle Ground, Book 17 of the series. While many fans are speculating this is a result of him having to split Peace Talks in half, this isn’t really a bad thing. More content is more content, after all, right?
