With more than $350 million at the theatrical global box office, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment released the details of Dune for the release on digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD.
Along with 2.5 hours for the movie, there are plenty of special features for behind-the-scenes moments for Dune fans hungering for more material before the next chapter.
Here is the official synopsis:
Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence—a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s greatest potential—only those who can conquer their fear will survive.
The film stars Timothée Chalamet (Call Me by Your Name, Little Women), Rebecca Ferguson (Doctor Sleep, Mission: Impossible—Fallout), Oscar Isaac (Star Wars franchise), Josh Brolin (Milk, Avengers: Infinity War), Stellan Skarsgård (Chernobyl, Avengers: Age of Ultron), Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy films, Avengers: Endgame), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Fences, Lady Bird), Zendaya (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Euphoria), Chang Chen (Mr. Long, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), David Dastmalchian (Blade Runner 2049, The Dark Knight), Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Sex Education), Charlotte Rampling (45 years, Assassin’s Creed), Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Game of Thrones), and Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men, Skyfall).
The film is available for early Premium Digital Ownership at home for $29.00 and for 48-hour rental via PVOD for $24.99 SRP on participating digital platforms on December 3.
On January 11, Dune will be available on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD.
