The Dune trailer is coming.
While Dune fans have already had a couple of adaptations of Frank Herbert’s classic novel, they’ve been overdue for another one. And it’s pretty damn awesome that the man behind this impending adaptation will be none other than Denis Villeneuve. Not only is he just a fantastic director, but he also cut his teeth on the genre with Arrival and Blade Runner 2049. Both were critically-acclaimed films with some fan love behind them as well.
The trailer for Dune has been rumored for weeks. Now, the folks over at Trailer-Track are reporting that it has hit a crucial milestone. According to them, the first trailer has been rated by the Quebec Ratings Board. That basically mean it’s cut, done, and fully ready for distribution whenever the hell that is. But when is whenever the hell? They expect to see the trailer hit in the next seven days or so.

Dune was already rumored for its trailer to hit with an Inception re-release this Friday. However, with new looks from Tenet this Friday and FanDome this Saturday, it sounds like the studio is playing things smart by delaying a bit. And they weren’t alone.
In a recent tweet from YouTuber Grace Randolph where she was confirming our Mandalorian scoop, she said the Dune trailer would hit next week.
