College football national champion (Miami Hurricanes 1991), WWE champion, and now A-list Hollywood movie star, Dwayne ‘The Rock” Johnson has had a career many can only dream of, and he is really just getting started. Coming off the massive success of starring in the very well received Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Johnson has a new reality series coming to NBC. An official synopsis follows below:

“Dwayne Johnson presents and stars in The Titan Games, a groundbreaking new athletic competition based on Dwayne’s belief that within each and every one of us is the potential for greatness. Coming to NBC.”

The Titan Games will see Johnson star as well as executive produce. In the video Johnson mentions being a member of his team, if you have what it takes, my question is, will those selected for his team compete against other teams, or his the goal of the show to simply make his team?

I’m not much for reality shows, unless game shows count (The Wall is a lot of fun to watch), but because The Rock is a super awesome guy, I may give in and check out the first episode, but to get me to keep watching it will have to be more competition than drama. I think a better idea would to have tried a Dwayne Johnson led reboot of American Gladiators.
