Electronic Arts Inc. and Ascendant Studios have officially launched Immortals of Aveum, a single-player, first-person magic shooter that harnesses the cutting-edge technology of Unreal Engine 5.1. Set in an original and enthralling fantasy universe, this game marks the debut of Ascendant Studios as an independent AAA developer, consisting of accomplished industry veterans. Published under the EA Originals label, Immortals of Aveum invites players into an immersive world where modern characters, an engaging storyline, and spellbinding magic-based action converge seamlessly with exploration and puzzle-solving elements. Gamers can now journey to save the realms by harnessing their power in this exhilarating adventure, available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store worldwide.
At the heart of Immortals of Aveum is the tale of Jak (Darren Barnet), an ordinary individual who discovers his unexpected magical abilities as an ‘Unforeseen,’ thrusting him into the tumultuous Everwar. Guided by the formidable General Kirkan (Gina Torres) and mentored by an elite group of battlemages called the Immortals, Jak must master the art of three distinct colors of magic: blue, green, and red. With the Everwar raging and legions of magic-wielders and soldiers on opposing sides, Jak and the Immortals delve into the enigmatic history of Aveum, uncovering its troubled past. Their mission: to shift the tides of war and overcome the mighty Sandrakk, the warlord of Rasharn, and his enigmatic lieutenant known as The Hand.

In the heart of Immortals of Aveum, players will experience fluid combat that challenges their skills and rewards mastery. With over 25 distinct spells, players can unleash a variety of powerful attacks, clever combos, and precise counters against the forces of Rasharn. The game’s deep progression system introduces over 80 unique Talents, allowing players to customize their characters and develop diverse playstyles. Whether focusing on offense or defense, magic takes center stage.

Immortals of Aveum is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store. The game is priced at $59.99 USD for PC and $69.99 USD for consoles. Players opting for the Deluxe Edition, priced at $69.99 USD (PC) and $79.99 USD (consoles), will receive exclusive in-game items including a unique sigil, rings, bracers, and totems, providing valuable gear in the battle to save Aveum. EA Play Pro members will have access to the Deluxe edition through the EA app.
