Electronic Arts Inc. has launched F1 24, marking a significant advancement in delivering an immersive and authentic Formula One experience. The game is now available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through EA App, Epic Games Store, and Steam.
F1 24 offers players the opportunity to step into the shoes of current F1 drivers or iconic racers from the past, allowing them to rewrite history or forge new storylines in the revamped Career Mode. Enhanced features such as the new EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling, updated tracks, real-world broadcast audio, and improved driver models elevate the game’s realism.
“F1 24 propels players into the world of Formula 1 like never before,” said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters. “We’ve pushed multiple areas of the game forward, opening up opportunities for players to race as their heroes – past or present – and create stories they’d like to see unfold. With the most significant upgrade to our Career Mode since 2016 and the new EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling, players will feel more like one of the 20 than ever before.”
The Career Mode, a cornerstone of the F1 series, has undergone a major overhaul to mirror the real-world challenges faced by F1 drivers. Players now encounter both long and short-term goals aligned with team aspirations, adding depth and motivation beyond merely securing a podium finish. The Two-Player Career Mode allows for cooperative or competitive play, while the Challenge Career offers a dynamic experience with evolving bite-sized scenarios.

The EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling feature redefines car physics, providing players with increased control and influence over vehicle performance and race strategy. The game includes new suspension kinematics, tire models, aero simulation, and revamped engine and setup options, all designed to deliver detailed feedback and precise handling performance.
Authenticity in F1 24 is further amplified with reworked circuits such as Silverstone and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, real-world radio communication samples, improved driver and car models, new cutscenes, and more. The official cars for all 10 teams in the 2024 Championship have been meticulously recreated using detailed CAD data, and the 2024 drivers appear more realistic thanks to advancements in hair rendering and enhancements to eye and skin shaders.
F1 World returns for its second season with the introduction of Fanzone, a new feature that allows players to join time-limited leagues, align with their favorite team and driver, and compete for Fan Points across various F1 World modes. This fosters a sense of community as players work towards shared goals and compete for rewards at the top of the championship table.
Post-launch, players can anticipate five themed seasons of free live service content, ensuring ongoing engagement and excitement throughout the year.
