The Barside Buzz is that Emma Corrin’s character is revealed for Deadpool 3, and this all gets a bit, weird. Last week we published an article with an older interview from Corrin talking about how excited they are to film on Deadpool 3 when production eventually starts back up again. We know already that Corrin is playing a villain in Deadpool 3, but nothing else.
However a new rumors from insider CWGST claims to know which character Corrin is playing. It is also worth noting that since this post, a few other leakers have come out and backed this.
I can confirm that Emma Corrin will be portraying Cassandra Nova in #Deadpool3.

As said above, in the comics, there is a peculiar tale to this character. Quoted again for clarity below.
“In the comics, Cassandra Nova is Charles Xavier’s evil twin who is his equal and exact opposite. He tried to telepathically kill her in the womb but she survives the attack and spends her life rebuilding a body to enact her revenge against him.”
That’s some crazy stuff. I’m not gonna lie, even as a comic book nerd who can suspend a lot of disbelief, this one stretches my limits.

The idea of a baby attempting to murder it’s own twin inside the womb because they know they are evil. Oh, and the murderous twin being the good one. I just gotta wonder if that story-line came around during the Crack epidemic in the 80’s because man. That’s too far for me, and I certainly don’t recall that story-line form my days reading X-Men comics, but I did stop at one point.
However, there is no guarantee Marvel will be looking at this aspect of the story-line. It may instead be a character used in a very different way to the comics. It’s not like the MCU hasn’t done this countless times already. As for how this all connects to the plot of Deadpool 3 I have no idea. Oh., and one thing more, CWGST also said on Twitter that Corrin is playing one of the villains, not necessarily the main antagonist.
