The Eternals final trailer is here! We also have the new official poster for the movie as well. Yesterday we reported a strong rumor that a new Eternals trailer would be coming today and surprisingly it was released for the beginning of the European territories day rather than the States. So enough prattling on, here it is.
This new trailer definitely gives us a lot more than that initial teaser. I have to say I think the movie looks great, I hope the actual movie itself lives up to how good it all looks. Of course much of that will depend on whether we fall in love with the characters, and a trailer will never give us that ahead of time. This trailer also shows Kit Harrington’s Dane Whitman for the first time outside of some BTS photos ages ago. I get the feeling that Whitman is the audience surrogate in this film, learning about the Eternals and what their role is. Though, how Whitman gets from this to Black Knight is hard to guess right now. It’s going to happen though, even if not in this movie.

The Deviants in the trailer do look similar to some enemies I’ve seen in other sci-fi franchises such as the later Halo games. I’m not saying that is a bad thing, however I feel like the main thrust of this story will not be some goal of the Deviants. Then again, this trailer has also indicated that some plot leaks I have seen are sounding more and more legit. Given those leaks hit before even the teaser trailer, it seems too close to be made up.
I guess therefore I have an idea of what is really going to be the conflict in this movie. Don’t worry, I aint spoiling. For those eager to know more, you’ll find the leaks. You’ll also find today the entire plot of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings after those fan screenings last night across America. So be careful out there amongst the trolls today folks.
