Well folks, as we suspected and as productions continues, we start to get more and more little details about Marvel’s Eternals seeping out. The film has been very secretive as all Marvel Studios movies are. Also, since the average fan knows far less about the comic book version of Eternals than the more known heroes, it has left us guessing a little as to exactly what kind of movie we are getting in November.
Today’s news comes from an Eternals fan account on Twitter, and it shows Ikaris (Richard Madden) taking flight using some wirework. You can check the images below, and you may even notice Kit Harrington in the background. Whether he is simply watching the shot or taking part is hard to say though. Check it out.

I know so little about the Eternals characters that I did not know Ikaris could fly. This does make me intrigued for the movie more than most due to my own ignorance. We also have a report from the same source that talks a little about the big battle that is being filmed. According to the fansite, the battle taking place is between the Eternals and their old enemies the Deviants. Interestingly they say that it looks as though the ever secret Eternals are being outed by the Deviants and encouraged to get into a battle amongst many onlookers and big crowds of regular folks.
Perhaps this is the moment the world of the MCU finds out about Eternals for the first time. I can sort of imagine a movie structure where things begin showing their history, and why they have shied away from any public exposure across the millennia. Then in modern times a new, or in this case old, threat forces them back out from the shadows. By the end, we have a group of very powerful superheroes active on Earth. The structure of that tale seems fine, but of course, this movie will fall or soar on its characters and their relationships.
A previous set photo that was shared shows Kit Harrington’s Dane Whitman and Gemma Chan’s Sersi locking lips. This was shared by Page Six, and whilst I cannot share the image here, it makes it pretty clear that Whitman and Sersi are a thing. You can, of course, click on the link in the sources section below for a look at the pair in a romantic embrace. One also wonders if Dane Whitman is far less powerful than the other cast members considering that he was never actually an Eternal in the comics. Though, he was an Avenger at various points and is certainly blessed with super human abilities.
