In its 18th year, Dances With Films (DWF) continues to be a leading film festival dedicated into finding tomorrow’s talent today.

The festival chooses films based solely on merit and discoverability, which mandates all competitive films to have no known actors, writers, directors and producers.

Co-founder Leslee Scallon said, “Giving these warriors the exposure that their talent, drive and sacrifice deserve is what DWF has always been about and our belief in our filmmakers is rewarded year after year.”

Some of the current DWF advisory board members include producer Steve Tisch (“Risky Business,” “The Pursuit of Happyness”), actor Eriz La Salle (“ER”), director Michael Lehmann (“Heathers”), producer Jonathan Dana (“Kill the Irishman”) and executive vice president of Movietickets.com Meliss Orlen.

The festival generates over 12,000 plus attendees annually and 2.5 million impressions per month on its web site at www.danceswithfilms.com.

Dances With Films will take place in Hollywood’s famous TCL Chinese Theaters from May 28th to June 7th featuring over 100 independent films.
