Lance Henriksen signed on to Blayne Weaver’s southern film noir thriller “Cut to the Chase.”

He will join the cast that already included Lyndie Greenwood (“Sleepy Hollow”), Erin Cahill (“Power Rangers Time Force”), Patrick Day (“Favor”) and Weaver (“6 Month Rule”).

The story follows an ex-con Max Chase (Weaver) who sister (Cahill) mysteriously disappears after his release from prison. Fearing for the life of his sister, Max dives back into the world of his dark past while being pursued by “The Man” (Henriksen) and his loyal enforcer (Day). Max’s only ally ends up being a manipulative fellow criminal (Greenwood), who is also on the run from “The Man.”

“Cut to the Chase” is Weaver’s fourth feature film following “6 Month Rule,” and “Weather Girl.”

Secret Identity Productions is making the film in association with Capital Arts Entertainment. The film is also produced by Mindy Bledsoe, Chris Lyon, Mike Elliott, Joe P. Genier and Rob Kerchner.
