Today a new rumor about The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Eli Bradley casting. For a while it has been rumored that Isaiah Bradley could feature in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Bradley is rumored to be playing a similar role to the one he played within the comics. In other words Bradley was a super soldier, and essentially the black Captain America.

Given how Sam needs to become Captain America, I always figured that he will somehow get ‘suped up’. If John Walker has become a Super Soldier, then I’ll guess so will Falcon eventually. Perhaps Bradley will be the way Sam gets hold of abilities? But then, we have the latest rumor, (courtesy of Murphy’s Multiverse) that says Eli Bradley was cast for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. The latest information comes from an IMDb page for actor Elijah Richardson. I know what you are thinking, anyone can edit IMDb and no, I’m not using that as a sole source. You see Eli Bradley and Elijah Richardson is a rumor I have heard before. Like Murphy does, I think there is a good chance this could be genuine information, for once.

IMDb has Richardson appearing as Bradley in two episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Specifically the third and sixth episodes of Season 1. If Bradley has some of his father/grandfather’s genes in him, could he be set for the rumored Young Avengers Disney+ event? I’d say the evidence is certainly pointing in that direction at the moment. After all, Eli Bradley (Patriot) was a founding member of the Young Avengers.

Also, when I say father/grandfather above, there’s a reason. There is no guarantee that the origin of Isaiah Bradley will remain consistent with the comic books. In the comics Isaiah Bradley became Captain America back in WWII. However, there is no reason for the MCU to match this exactly. We know Carl Lumbly was cast in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and we does not look old enough to be a WWII vet to me. Of course, maybe Lumbly is not playing Isaiah Bradley?
