Fantastic Beasts 2 Back To Hogwarts Featurette Will Make You Nostalgic

Who else is ready to go back to Hogwarts? While we may have only just had the most recent Fantastic Beasts film hit theaters a couple years back, it’s been a solid seven years since we’ve been able to sneak a peek inside Hogwarts’ (deathly?) hallowed grounds. For many folks in my generation, they played an integral role in growing up, so I think I’m overdue for another visit.

Luckily, as we saw in the first trailers for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, we will, in fact, be revisiting Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry — this in the 1920s, when Dumbledore is Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. While it’s unclear whether or not the school will actually play a large role in the film, the new featurette from Warner Bros. really plays up its importance.

In it, we get to see author/screenwriter J.K. Rowling as she celebrates us returning to the school we were all introduced to back in the 1990s. From there, we hear words from stars Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law on the surreal nature of them working at the locations made famous in those film. In the case of Law, he highlighted how bizarre it was to shoot in the locations he watched as a fan in those Potter films.
