The Fast and Furious crew are set to head out on another over-the-top completely unbelievable yet highly entertaining adventure that encapsulates everything a popcorn movie should be. Today comes casting news on the upcoming ninth film in the franchise as Oscar winners Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren are retuning to the series.

The franchise pulls in tons of delicious theater cash with  Furious 7  coming in at the eight spot of the top 10 grossing films of all-time according to Box Office Mojo and is likely also the reason a tenth installment into the franchise has already been given the thumbs up.

I know what I am in for when I sit down to watch one of the Fast and Furious films, and with this mindset the films usually deliver on their promises of a popcorn movie on steroids.
