Federico Alotto on Terrorism Espionage Film Code Karim | BHFF 2021 [Exclusive Interview]

Code Karim - directed by Federico Alotto

The War on Terrorism marks a new territory for espionage. With codes, cat-and-mouse chases, and undercover operations, terrorists and anti-terrorists must stay ahead of each other. For Italian filmmaker, Federico Alotto, it was his chance to create a spy drama with intense action sequences.

Here’s the synopsis:

Karim, after years spent in war-torn Syria, decides to return to Italy, to finally regain his life. But in order to do so, he will have to pay a very high price.

The cast includes Mohamed Zouaoui (Farida, Catharsys or The Afina Tales of the Lost World), Valentina Cervi (Jane Eyre, Soul Mate), Fabio Fulco (Vita Smeralda, Soundtrack of Passion), and Stella Egitto. Federico Alotto (Romanzo Siciliano) directed and wrote the movie.
