Felipe Esparza On His Upcoming Netflix Comedy Specials Bad Decisions/Malas Decisiones [Exclusive Interview]

Felipe Esparza is one of my favorite comedians. His relaxed and for me, relatable style of comedy is always a joy to watch. In 2010 he won NBC’s Last Comic Standing and finally got his big break. Now ten years later he has two successful Stand-Up specials and various appearances on television shows like NBC’s Superstore, he is getting a not one but two Netflix Original comedy specials.

On September 1st we will be treated to Felipe Esparza: Bad Decisions and Felipe Esparza: Malas Decisiones. Both English and Spanish versions of the show (filmed separately) will be released simultaneously. This is a first not only for Esparza but for Netflix as well. They will be released in 190 countries around the world. No pressure right?

In promotion for these upcoming comedy specials, Esparza took time out of his busy schedule to have a one on one with LRMOnline. During the interview, we talked about his excitement about putting out two comedy specials at once. As well as the challenges that come with doing a Spanish show, when you grew up with a different Spanish than Mexican comedians. It was a fun conversation that could have gone on a lot longer!
