You know we’re nearing the approach of a brand-new film when clips start finding their way onto the internet. We are at that point with Marvel Studios’ upcoming film, Avengers: Infinity War. Last week, during the Kids Choice Awards, audiences were treated to a clip from the film, and that clip has since made its way on the web. You can check it out in all its Guardian and Thor goodness above.

Those who have been following the film for the past year or so will recognize that at least part of this clip was played during D23 and San Diego Comic-Con last year, though that was in service of a full, trailer-like deal. This clip lets the introduction play out in full, with the Guardians caressing Thor’s bis and tris. Even to aliens Chris Hemsworth is a specimen!

The clip doesn’t reveal anything new. We’ve seen part of it in the first trailer, and the other stuff is all just color. So if you were hoping for extra details, you may walk away disappointed. However, it’s still a fun little scene and makes me wonder just how much death and destruction Thanos brought to the rest of the Asgardians.

Below is the official synopsis for Avengers: Infinity War:

“An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. “

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27, 2018.
