Other than the official trailer and the images we saw recently at Star Wars Celebration, nothing much else official has made its way online for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. We have heard a number of leaked details, rumors and even some leaked images which we cannot share, but really nothing else from the marketing side of the movie.
Now it seems like we have our first official image of Kylo Ren with his helmet on from the new movie. This image was taken and posted to social media by trcoot at a recent Licensing Expo, check it out below.

It may not be the clearest image for Ren, and from that angle, it kinda looks like he’s teaming up with Bo-Beep to take over the Galaxy from Mickey Mouse, whilst The Avengers and Homer Simpson try to foil their dastardly plans. However, it does show that as we had been told, Ren does indeed repair his helmet and wear it in the movie, as was glimpsed in the trailer.
The more that officially does appear for The Rise of Skywalker, the more we realize that many of the early leaks we have shared here on LRM Online are turning out to be very accurate. As someone who has read all these leaks so my colleagues don’t have to, it does still leave me concerned about the direction The Rise of Skywalker is heading. But I always say, you wait for the movie itself and judge it on its own merits.

LRM will be doing a special The Last Call Podcast hopefully on the day of release for The Rise of Skywalker. Though, the logistics of when we all get to see the movie and record the podcast is still to be determined, luckily by people more skilled at planning than I. Though I will most definitely be on the podcast and debating the good and the bad of the final film in the Skywalker Saga.
