The first Knives Out: Glass Onion teaser trailer has been shared online by writer/director Rian Johnson. Knives Out was a hit with critics and audiences. Personally, I really enjoyed the movie, which I can’t say for Johnson’s preceding movie before that. Knives Out: Glass Onion is the first of two sequels coming to Netflix. Glass Onion will be out some time this Holiday Season as per the teaser below.

Once again Glass Onion will follow lead character Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) as he attempt to unravel a murder mystery. Of course, as promised by Johnson there are no spoilers in this teaser, so we have no idea where the plot is going. Thankfully, considering this is a murder mystery.
The first Knives Out movie felt like a modern take on the classic Agatha Christie formula. Take interesting people, put them all in a confined space and have one of them murder another. The twist in Knives Out was that the detective know who did it within a short time scale and spent the rest of the movie trying to figure out who was really to blame.
Knives Out: Glass Onion features stars such as Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Kate Hudson, Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline and Janelle Monáe.

As for the trailer, it looks like another damn fun movie, if you like murder mysteries. I was brought up on Agatha Christie living in the U.K. and therefore this is right up my street. If Glass Onion is as good or better than the first movie then we could be in for a treat. However that remains to be seen. It is, if nothing else, a great cast once again and I can’t wait to see what kind of wacky characters they are all playing.
