First Look At FX’s Legion Season 2!

Last year may have seen the beginnings of two Mutant-focused shows across to Fox-owned networks, but despite my personal concerns of them overshadowing one another, the two couldn’t be more different. While The Gifted continues to be more traditional in its approach to storytelling, FX’s Legion is something different altogether.

Given the abilities of David Haller — the son of Charles Xavier (Professor X) — it makes sense that the writers would go for something distinctly trippier for this more mature outing. Starting out in a psychiatric institute, Season 1 of Legion saw David become exposed to a world of similar mutants, and grow tremendously as a character.

Now, Season 2 is on the way, and while it’s not set to premiere until March, there have been a few shots that have made their way online from FX’s 2018 promos. One fan Twitter account, Legion Hub, took the initiative to edit these shots together in a five-second sizzle reel.

Obviously, given that these weren’t a part of a trailer that aimed to sell Legion by itself, there is very little to chew on here. However, those who were hungry to see just a little bit of something will be happy to see that the series’ trademark trippy and creative production design is retained.
