The Fast & Furious franchise has multiple cameos over the years. Consistently, Latin music superstars have a strong presence with characters, including Tego Calderon, Don Omar, and now with special participation from Ozuna and Cardi B in F9.

Universal Pictures released the first look photo of Cardi B as Leysa, a woman with a certain connection to Dom’s past.

Also, the studio released an interview with Cardi B discussing her role in the upcoming film and how important it was for her to see reggaetón artists she grew up listening to playing characters in the Fast & Furious franchise. Thanks to the films, it gave hope to her community.

Here’s the official synopsis for F9:

Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena).
