The first official trailer for Noah Baumbach’s While We’re Young has hit the web. Looks like a thoughtful, indie picture. Like one of those small films that Ben Stiller does in between big, broader pictures in order to feel like more of an artist. And that’s not a knock. The movie looks pretty good. Something my wife and I may enjoy on a date night when we need a break from the kids.
Give it a look:
Noah Baumbach’s exploration of aging, ambition and success stars Stiller and (Naomi) Watts as a middle-aged couple whose career and marriage are overturned when a disarming young couple (Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried) enters their lives. The film also stars Charles Grodin, Maria Dizzia, Adam Horovitz and Ryan Serhant.
We can expect While We’re Young to begin its rollout starting on March 27, 2015, before it comes to an artsy theater near you a month later.
