Aquaman is released domestically on December 21 and in some territories as early as December 14. So far we have had plenty of trailers, extended scenes and even TV spots for the next movie in the DCEU.

It would be fair to say that WB and DC really could do with a win with Aquaman and I have personally said many times that the visuals look stunning enough that I am considering an opening weekend theatre visit.
We have now got some early first reactions from a test screening, and while those in attendance had to sign NDA’s as with all movies, some of them have still gone online to share their non-spoiler thoughts with other fans.
Below are some of the early reactions I have been able to find between Reddit and Twitter so far. Generally, I’d say everything sounds fairly positive here for now, but you do have to be careful with these early reactions, because we cannot verify those who claim to have seen it in any way. Check them out anyway.
Reddit User MaxBorne –
“I cannot confirm or deny that I’ve seen this movie but if I had I would probably say that it’s certainly going to be their most well received movie yet. Its tone closely parallels Ant-man & The Wasp and Thor: Ragnarok and this movie will be liked by the biggest audience, although it will probably suffer from some criticism that it deviates heavily from the original tone of the DCEU to more closely resemble The MCU. But again I reiterate, this would only be my opinion if I had somehow already seen the movie in an advanced screening, which I am not saying I have done.”
And when asked if the user considered the movie better than Wonder Woman:
“lol if I had, I would say that it’s not perfect but I did genuinely have fun watching it, Atlantis felt like muuuuch more of a fleshed out world than Themascara [sic], Orm/Black Manta were far less generic than Mecha-Lupen, and the color pallet was brilliant… so yes I would say that It’s better than Wonder Woman IMO, if I had seen it.”
Now on to some Twitter posts

I can say I have seen #Aquaman I can't talk about details but I can tell you it's a major achievement in film making and storytelling it's a display that Walter hamada is doing a great job it's evidence that James should direct more DC movies

So… about #Aquaman. A reaction from final film:
– It's pretty good! Not groundbreaking, but solid
– Action is good, story is alright
– CGI is decent
– Score is meh
– Mera/Arthur are hit and miss
– Overall, a good film pic.twitter.com/vK678zRptE— aemon // ايمن (@AemonBarz) November 8, 2018
So far then, nothing drastic or even that we could consider negative, but this is only a small selection of viewers and you should probably wait for more reactions if you want to use them gauge whether you should catch this movie or not. Personally, I think I will be checking this out regardless and see what I think for myself. This is still a hell of a lot better than the kind of reactions we were getting for Justice League though right?
What do you think of the reactions so far, will they influence you to see the movie either way? Sound off in our comments section secretly stashed away in the depths below. No sea shanties.
