The Flash has been on a couple week hiatus, but will be returning next week in the episode titled “Godspeed”. Not only that, but the episode will be directed by Caitlin Frost herself, Danielle Panabaker. We have heard that another speedster, Godspeed, should be making his presence felt this episode, but finally, the old foes of Barry and Thawne will meet again, face-to-face.
I know that after Season 3 almost everyone was speedstered out, but with the flop that was Season 4 and The Thinker, the series looked to revert back to what worked. Tom Cavanagh’s Eobard Thawne was a standout in Season 1 and I have been waiting for him to be let loose yet again. In 2049, Thawne has been captive and working with Nora, but with the reveal that the two had been working together, it looks as if they may possibly need Thawne’s help with Cicada (Grace) and the mysterious Godspeed.

DANIELLE PANABAKER DIRECTS — After discovering that Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) is working with Thawne (Tom Cavanagh), Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) disagree about how to handle their daughter in the wake of this shocking news. Team Flash isn’t sure they can trust Nora, so they go through her journal to find out exactly how she came to work alongside their greatest nemesis. Danielle Panabaker directed the episode written by Judalina Neira & Kelly Wheeler (#518). Original airdate 4/16/2019.
