It’s been just shy of a year since director Phil Lord and Chris Miller were let go from the recently-released Solo: A Star War Story production. The studio and writer of the film had very public creative differences with the directors, and by all accounts, their interpretation of the film wasn’t really what Lucasfilm was looking to create. As a result, the pair were jettisoned, and Ron Howard took over directing duties.

Since then, the pair has remained largely silent. They’ve said a few things in regards to Solo: A Star Wars Story itself, but haven’t said a whole lot else. Earlier this week, however, Chris Miller took to Twitter to tease their upcoming projects to their fans.

“Over the past year, @philiplord & I have been working every day (& many nights) on 2 movies, & very soon we’ll get to show you more of both of them. They’ve both been built on the energy, creativity, & passion of many talented artists & you’re gonna flip for them!”

As a fan of the duo, hearing this is all kinds of exciting. It’s enough to get excited about a single film — but for there to be TWO of them coming up in the near future? That’s pretty amazing to hear. Given the immense talent of Lord and Miller, I’m sure whatever it is will be fantastic, and assuming they’re original projects, they’ll no longer have to answer to an established canon, which is a plus.

What kind of project are you hoping to get from these two? Let us know your thoughts down below!
