Forza Horizon 4 is released on October 2 for Xbox and PC and this time the open world racer will allow players to explore the roads of Britain for the first time. The previous games in the Forza Horizon franchise have been critically and financially successful for Microsoft who own the IP.
The Forza games are Xbox exclusives and considered the best of their type on consoles. The main Forza games in this franchise feature track racing made as realistic as possible featuring a variety of different classes of race cars and road cars. The Horizon sub-series instead focuses on open world racing with road cars across semi realistic road networks in various countries.
Now, Xbox have released the above trailer for a DLC pack that will be available on launch for the game. It’s definitely got tongues wagging amongst gamers as the Bond Franchise link seems like a great idea given the games British setting. It looks like almost all of the classic Bond cars are available here including many of the most famous gadget infested icons.
Forza Horizon 4 whilst being available for purchase on October 2 is also being made available to anyone who subscribes to Xbox’s Game Pass. The Game Pass allows players to pay a monthly fee and receive access to a huge library of games. Microsoft are so committed to the Game Pass they are making all their own IP’s available through Game Pass on day one.
The first time I have felt the urge to start subscribing to Game Pass is the release of this game. Many of my gaming clan mates already subscribe to the service, so we are looking forward to cruising through Blighty in our Bond cars.
