Frida: Stroke of Passion: Opening Night Red Carpet Interviews

Frida Kahlo is one of the most renown artists in Mexico history.

Many movies, documentaries and other works portray the artists in many different aspects. Odalys Nanin wrote and starred in the play Frida – Stroke of Passion that portrays the last few days of Frida’s life as she navigates her memories of the love affairs with moving towards death.

Over the weekend, Frida – Stroke of Passion had its opening night in Casa 0101 in Boyle Heights, Calif. Other stars included Tricia Cruz, Sandra Vala, Mantha Balourdou, Ebony Perry, Paul Cascante, Andres Mejia Vallejo, Francisco Medina, Kesia Elwin, Majorie Burgos and Joseph Bixler. The play is directed by Nanin and Corky Dominguez.

The show is now playing through February 23rd. All shows are currently sold out.
