Frozen 2: Fall Mirrors Winter In Gorgeous New International Poster

It doesn’t look like Disney is ready to let Frozen rest on its laurels. Sure, it may be the single highest grossing animated film of all time, and sure, it was pretty much guaranteed a sequel the moment its influence on the masses became clear, but it doesn’t look like they’re planning on retreading the same Disney princess formula for this next entry in the series. That much became clear after we saw the first teaser trailer.

For this next film, we will be traveling with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven as they head out of Arendelle to unknown lands. In their adventures, they hope to find the origins of Elsa’s powers. Their travels will take them to a world that is more inspired by fall, and this is very much represented in the new poster for the film.

Below is the official synopsis for Frozen 2:

“Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough. From the Academy Award®-winning team—directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez—and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, “Frozen 2” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2019.
