Frozen 2’s Premise Reportedly Revealed [SPOILERS]

A couple weeks ago, on the heels of the god-awful Aladdin of trailer, Disney made a quick about-face when they dropped a Frozen 2 trailer — a trailer that proved to be everything fans hoped it would be and more. As someone who was a fan of the first film, it really brought with it an extra dose of maturity and promise of epic scale. But if there was one thing we were missing, it was actual story.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I don’t fault Disney. It did everything it needed to get to get us pumped. But that hasn’t stopped me from wanting to see the movie, and it hasn’t stopped fans from continually mining the trailer for all the details they can muster. Now, a couple of Disney podcasters from the Fine Tooning podcast shared what they know about the story.

In short, it’s all about Ana and Elsa searching for what actually happened to their parents. That’s pretty interesting considering we saw their ship capsize in the original film. But what were the circumstances surrounding the accident? It has long since been rumored by fans that they were on their way to Rapunzel’s wedding, but if they actual give an explanation in this film, then that’ll be sure to break plenty of hearts. However, it’s pretty awesome that we may get some more answers surrounding that whole deal.

The podcast hosts also speculated based on star Josh Gad’s trollish posting that Elsa will be able to control all four core elements — but I remain unconvinced.
